Post Questions
What do you think “the whole world is a play house” means? What does it mean to you?
To me, I feel like that this quote means don't take anything serious. We are all going to die anyways so you might as well enjoy the opportunities you have and have fun. Nothing in this world is taken for granted.
Do you enjoy comedies, tragedies, or histories more? Why?
I definitely, by far, enjoy comedies. I think one should have a good time and be happy. But I also like tragedies because it makes you thankful for what you have. I personally am a sucker and am the first to cry in theaters. I'm definitely not the history type though.
What intrigues you most about Shakespearean theater? What questions do you still have about Shakespeare?
To be honest, I've never ever ever studied Shakespeare. I mean I know who he was but I have never gone into depth. I know everyone has studied it a million times but I guess I'm the one left out. So knowing who Shakespeare was really is my first question that I need to start with. But I do have a question on the globe theater he built, what did he mean when he constructed three stories: one for heaven, earth, and hell?
