¡Hola! Welcome to my Spanish page! I would definitely write this in Spanish but for the purpose of the community to read this, I will keep it in English. Spanish is my native language and is the one I speak at home. So I came into this class believing I would ace it. (Which I did) However, I was not expecting the challenges. I had never been taught how to use the written accents, nor the correct past/present forms of a words, and I'd never read a full book in Spanish. All of these were some big challenges that I was able to overcome. The first book I read was Junto by Ally Condie nd boy did that take me a while! It was tough getting through it. By the second book, I started reading the first chapters aloud and was soon able to read it in my head as if I were reading in English! I was so amazed by how quickly my brain was able to adjust! For the class just being Spanish I, the teacher really found a way for us native speakers to be challenged!
